The second and final BHF South Downs Way Randonee took place at the end of July with 200 riders taking part over 35, 65 or 100 mile route options. Said to be the toughest off-road bike event in the UK this is not for the faint hearted or unprepared.

QECP acted as a checkpoint for the competitors who passed through over a three-hour period.

Pictured is Andrew Bateman the Hampshire County Council Tourism Manager who completed the 100 mile route in 15 hours raising £240 pounds for the BHF in the process.
